Next Wednesday, 21st August at 2pm, there is a talk by historian Peter Daniel at The Furzedown Project in Moyser Road about the evacuation of children from London during the Second World War.     I lived in Parklands Rd and was evacuarted three times in 2nd World War in 1939, 1940 & 1944. My mother a warden at Post I 80 in Moyser Rd and I attended school in Penwortham Rd.in between periods away.
